Metro Boomin Reportedly Sells Part of His Catalog for Close to $70 Million

Metro Boomin, born Leland Tyler Wayne, has sold a portion of music catalog to Shamrock Capital for nearly $70 million, Billboard reports.
The super producer previously dropped Heroes & Villains, his second studio album, back in early December. The album featured appearances from Future, Young Thug, Don Toliver, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, John Legend, Chris Brown, Young Nudy, The Weeknd, Mustafa, Gunna, and the late Migos rapper Takeoff. Heroes & Villains debuted at the No. 1 spot of the Billboard 200 by moving 185,000 album-equivalent units.
