Michigan Woman Loses Husband, Only Child to COVID-19: ‘It’s Unimaginable’

A Michigan woman who lost both her husband and her son to COVID-19 said her goodbyes via a Facebook Live funeral service last week.
Sandy Brown of Flint, Michigan first lost her 59-year-old husband Freddie Lee Brown Jr. in late March. Per CBS News, her 20-year-old son Freddie Lee Brown III died three days later.
“There’s not even a word created to describe my pain,” Brown said of losing her husband and only child. “It’s unimaginable. In three days, I lost my husband and son to an ugly plague. I watched my son go from completely well and whole and happy to being gone in three days.”
