Migos has linked up with Travis Scott and Young Thug on the much-anticipated track “GNF.”
The ATL-based trio debuted the cut toward the end of 2019, during their performance at Scott’s Astroworld Festival in Houston. More than three months later, Migos shared “GNF”—aka “Give No Fxk”—on all major streaming platforms.
The track was produced by Grammy-nominated Murda Beatz, who celebrated his 26th birthday this weekend at Mr. Chow in Los Angeles, where he was joined by his family, label mates, and good friend G-Eazy.
“I made the beat with DJ Durel and Quavo walked in the room yelling ‘We don’t give no fucks.’ I said ‘That should be the hook’ and the rest is history,” Murda said about “GNF” in a statement to Complex. “The song happened pretty organically. I know its about to fuck the streets up!”
You can listen to the new track now on Apple Music or via Spotify below. The track’s official video was also released. Check it out up top.
“GNF” comes as Migos readies their fourth studio album Culture III. Quavo spoke about their next project during a December interview with Business Insider, stating the album would mark a new chapter for him and his fellow Migos members, Offset and Takeoff.
“I’m excited about the Migos project. We dropping that next year,” he said. “We haven’t dropped in two years … I feel like it’s more about Migos that y’all don’t know yet. And I feel like this album is going to be prolific. I feel like this album is going to be the album to do it. And I think it Culture III,” but I don’t know. I think we may change the chapter.”
Stay tuned as more information about Culture III becomes available.
