MoStack’s Debut Album ‘Stacko’ Has Arrived
Written by SOURCE on June 7, 2019
North London rapper MoStack has finally released his debut album Stacko, a 13-track pick ‘n’ mix of the sounds and styles he’s helped deliver over the last few years.
An underrated facet of MoStack’s appeal is his successful crafting of a larger-than-life persona on wax, which helps him flip from cheeky to gritty in just a matter of words. With a few dance steps throw in for good measure, he ties it all together with a strong grasp of rhyme and melody.
Tagging in names such as Dave, Fredo, J Hus and Stormzy to features on Stacko shows a real effort to propel MoStack into the growing major league of British rap — and he just about passes the grade, relying on his chameleon-like ability to shift and contort around varying tempos and topics.
With more than a few of these already creeping onto your playlists, expect the sounds of Stacko to stick around all summer long. Hear the album in full below.
