Multiple People Reportedly Shot at Northern California Garlic Festival

Multiple people have been shot at the Gilroy Garlic Festival in Gilroy, California, NBC Bay Area reports. Gunshots were reported around 5:30 p.m., and videos posted to social media show festival goers running, as gunshots can be heard in the background. Ambulance crews were reportedly told that at least 11 people were injured. Gilroy is around 30 miles southeast of San Jose.
President Trump tweeted that the shooter has reportedly not been apprehended.
A witness at the scene described seeing the shooter.
Local councilman, Dion Bracco, said that at least three people have been killed, and 12 have been injured, a number that may or may not include the deceased, the New York Times reports.
