NBA Rising Stars Challenge Sneakers 2020

Written by on February 15, 2020

The future of the NBA and the league’s broad international reach was on full display Friday night, when the U.S. battled the World in the 2020 Rising Stars game.

Of course, all eyes were on rookie phenom Zion Williamson, who made highlights reels for the dunks he made and missed. He even dunked so hard in the first half that that rim bent and needed an adjustment during halftime. The game’s other marquee stars also gave the fans what they came to see—Luka Doncic hit his signature long range shots and Trae Young pulled off a nutmeg, but the game’s unlikely MVP was Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges, who led Team USA to a 151-131 victory with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists while wearing Paul George’s Gatorade x Nike PG 4 collaboration.

While the usual “Rising Stars” Player Exclusive Nikes were noticeably absent from the game, there was still plenty of heat on the court. Williamson and Doncic laced up new Air Jordan 34s, Ja Morant debuted the Gamer Exclusive Nike Adapt BB 2.0 and Jaren Jackson pulled out an alternate version of Don C’s Nike KD 12 collab. Keep an eye out for these pairs and the rest of the sneakers that were worn in the 2020 NBA Rising Stars game below,
