Nelly Apologizes After Oral Sex Video Was Posted to His Instagram Account

Nelly issued an apology on Tuesday after an NSFW video was posted to his Instagram account.
The rapper issued a statement to TMZ saying that he apologizes to the young woman involved in the video and her family for the “unwanted publicity.”
“I sincerely apologize to the young lady and her family, this is unwanted publicity for her/them,” the statement reads. “This was an old video that was private and never meant to go public.”
Nelly’s team also told the publication that they believe the video was posted after his account was hacked. They are investigating the breach now to make sure that other personal information and documents weren’t also taken.
The video was promptly scrubbed from social media a few hours after it was posted to IG, but that didn’t stop Twitter from Twitter-ing and people getting their jokes off.
Nelly wasn’t just in hot water for this hack, though. The rapper/singer was criticized late last month for telling Madonna to “cover up” under her recent Instagram post.
Nelly didn’t respond to the criticism he received for his Madonna comment.
