New Balance Kawhi 3 III Alpha Predator Release Date

After a slow and sporadic start to the season, Kawhi Leonard is beginning to look like his old self in Los Angeles again. The silky-smooth offense, smothering lockdown defense, and unshakeable demeanor have all been on full display, giving fans of the Clippers hope that the team can make the title run they envisioned when Kawhi arrived nearly four years ago. Now that his game has returned to form and he appears to be a more permanent part of the Clippers’ lineup, his partners at New Balance are ready to officially introduce his next signature sneaker with the brand—the Kawhi 3.
Kawhi will debut the Kawhi 3 in tonight’s marquee matchup against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks in Los Angeles. The launch colorway, dubbed “Alpha Predator,” draws inspiration from Kawhi’s dominant disposition on the court, likening his abilities to the “apex predator who sits at the top of the food chain allowing him to attack without the fear of anyone getting in his way.” It features a classic of blend of black, white, and red, with varying material panels and a speckled midsole.
In terms of performance technology, the Kawhi 3 features a lightweight textile upper and synthetic construction, along with a seamless half-bootie that’s connected to the tongue. A molded adapt component at the hee provides a locked-in and stable fit. FuelCell cushioning returns and is paired with Energy Arc, sport-specific carbon fiber plate geometry with strategic midsole voids designed to increase stored energy and deliver a higher return.

The “Alpha Predator” Kawhi 3 will release on February 10 for $160 at newbalance.com. Additional colorways such as Recharged Chakra, Multi-Dimensional, Sacred Geometry, and one that pulls from the brand’s iconic color will launch throughout the season.
