Nicki Minaj and Big Fendi Hash Out Their Differences in New Interview

Nicki Minaj sat down with her former manager Big Fendi on his podcast That’s a Fendi Morning Show to discuss their relationship, past issues, and how they’ve been able to evolve. Fendi is credited for initially discovering Minaj early in her career, and was the first to sign her before anyone else ould. In fact, on Queen Radio back in January, when Nicki asked 50 Cent why he didn’t sign her back in the day, he said it was “cause of [Big] Fendi.”
The two had a falling out this past summer when she blasted him on her radio show as well. “The mistake you made was that you thought I was some brainless ho that you was going to tell what to do,” she said about her former manager. They later reconciled their differences and now, the two reunited once more to discuss their relationship in more depth.
“Actually, we haven’t had a conversation in how many years? 2008? Last time I seen you was in 2008,” Fendi said. He then added that he knew that he had to sit down with Nicki at some point because “moving on in life and trying to prosper, you can’t hold no grudges.”
At around the 10:10 mark, when Nicki asks Fendi why he was going around dissing her, Fendi responded by saying “Part of it was, like, I felt like I started something,” he said. “And you didn’t reap the benefits of it,” Nicki interjected before he agreed. “At the end of the day, I feel like you didn’t give me my credit,” Fendi went on to say.
Nicki retorted by saying that she feels like everyone already knows how she got her start, and that they had a falling out before she even really made it big. Regardless, it appears as though the two have made peace now. You can watch the entire interview above.
