Noon Goons Connects With Vault by Vans on First Footwear Collection

When the Noon Goons team decided to expand their in-house offerings into footwear, they knew exactly which brand to collaborate with.
“I grew up wearing Vans, and all of my friends surf for them,” Noon Goons’ founder Kurt Narmore said in a press release. “As a brand, we are so deep in Southern California culture. We knew that if we ever did shoes, it would have to be with Vans.”
The California-based menswear brand has just unveiled a three-piece sneaker capsule in collaboration with Vault by Vans. Narmore says he and Noon Goons’ creative director, Sam Jarou, first toured the footwear giant’s Costa Mesa headquarters in 2019, when they began experimenting with various textiles and silhouettes before they eventually agreed on three elevated versions of classic Vans models: the Sk8-Hi, the Slip-On, and the Style 36, aka Vans’ classic Old Skool skate shoe.
“Ultimately, we decided to do variations of what we wore growing up,” Narmore added. “For me it was the Sk8-Hi and slip-on; for Sam, it was the Old Skool.”
The reworked Sk8-Hi is presented in snakeskin-embossed white leather, with black foxing stripes, and a black Noon Goons logo embroidered on the heel. The brand updated the Old Skool in the reverse colorway of the Sk8-Hi, creating a snakeskin-embossed black leather upper with white foxing stripes and the Noon Goon embroidered logo on the back. And the Vans’ Slip-On was elevated with a dark navy velvet body on all-black sole, a leopard-print insole, and a white Noon Goons logo on the heel.
You can check out the designs, each of which will retail for $115, in the product shots below. The Vault by Vans x Noon Goons collection will arrive April 15 at select Vault by Vans and Noon Goons retailers as well as Noon Goons’ online store.
