Normani Drops Music Video for New Single “Motivation”

As we await Normani’s debut solo album, the 23-year-old singer has gifted fans with a handful of solid singles, including “Waves” with 6lack, “Love Lives” with Khalid, and the multi-platinum “Dancing With a Stranger” featuring Sam Smith.
This week, the Fifth Harmony alum adds to her discography with “Motivation,” a feel-good track that was co-written by Normani’s good friend Ariana Grande. The singer revealed Grande’s involvement during a recent interview with Rolling Stone.
“She’s been very supportive of me, too. I talk to her about the creative process,” Normani said. “I’m like, ‘When did you know your album was done.’ She was just like, ‘Honestly, you’ll know. Nobody will have to tell you. You’ll feel it […] She’s dope. She also has a part in the record that I’m releasing, too. She wrote on it.”
