Paul Pierce Says He Was Better Than Dwyane Wade: ‘That’s Easy’
Written by SOURCE on April 6, 2019
On Friday night, Paul Pierce made some interesting comments regarding Dwyane Wade while on ESPN.
When asked “who’s the better NBA player,” he or Wade, Pierce responded: “That’s easy. I can say that off the bat. That’s me.” He continued his argument by saying he would be in possession of several championships if he had Shaq on his team in the early days of his NBA career and then LeBron and Chris Bosh later in his career.
“If you give me Shaq, if you give me LeBron […] If you give me these guys early in my career… When I was 24 years old, if you give me Shaq. When I’m 24-25 you give me LeBron and Bosh, I’d be sitting on five or six championships. Easy.”

Needless to say, a lot of people on social media were not in agreement with Pierce’s assessment.
I see Twitter is doing the Lord’s work and dragging Paul Pierce for this foolishness. 😂😂😂 https://t.co/d0LxIUzM2Q

I love Paul Pierce. One of my favorites ever.
He’s nuts saying he had a better career than Dwyane Wade.
Love the confidence, but…
