At least six people were injured when gunfire erupted inside a Pennsylvania mall Sunday afternoon, WPVI reports

Lancaster City Police said several males were involved in an altercation inside Park City Center before shots were fired. At least six people were injured. Three men and a female were treated for gunshot wounds, which aren’t considered to be life-threatening. The other two suffered minor injuries while attempting to flee the mall.

According to Lancaster Online, two suspects have been taken into custody.

Hana Ali, co-owner of the food store Tabarek Al-Hana inside the mall, told the outlet she witnessed an argument between a group of four men that escalated into a scuffle. One of them brandished a gun, and threatened the other three. Ali recalls seeing the firearm get knocked out of his hand before someone else assumed control of the weapon, and fired off a shot.

Ali believes she heard five or six shots fired, and saw one person struck in the leg and shoulder. “Everything went so fast,” she said. “We were scared so we we’re hiding behind my register.”

Anthony Colon, manager on duty at Rue 21, located five stores away from the shooting, told the York Daily Record that he froze after hearing two gunshots. Colon then pulled down the front gate and led the dozen people inside to a backroom where they grabbed whatever they could find, like hammers and screwdrivers, to use as a possible weapon.

The mall was closed for the remainder of the day, as an investigation into the shooting is already underway. It will reportedly reopen tomorrow.
