Percival Unveils ‘Blue Willow Club’ Collection For SS23
Written by SOURCE on February 3, 2023
Fresh from the release of its vacation-inspired Receptionist capsule, London-based label Percival has returned with its latest offering for Spring/Summer 2023.
Titled Blue Willow Club, the collection features an array of understated, light silhouettes for the warmer months, along with geometric patterns and floral detailing which promises to bring a fresh sophistication to any summer wardrobe.
Comprising a relaxed take on archetypical staples, the Blue Willow Club offers a variety of looks and prints ranging from outerwear and knits to knitwear and loose-fitting tailoring in warm, seasonal hues. Embracing a retro style, standouts include the brand’s all-new tracksuits—which include blue and white willow piping—as well as the detailing on the linen shorts and cuban shirts.
In addition to bomber jackets and pinstripe shirts that feel almost of a different era, the collection comes accompanied by a short film to celebrate its release, featuring appearances from People Just Do Nothing’s Asim Chaudhry, podcast host and model Danny Lomas, and Mob chef Jordan Ezra King. The ‘70s-inspired visual follow the trio on a boozy journey around a bar, while a disco soundtrack from Rayowa is also featured.
Speaking on the new release, Percival’s founder, Chris Grove, said: “The Blue Willow Club was inspired by a plate collection passed down from my Grandfather. I’m really pleased with how everything has turned out and I’m looking forward to people finally being able to wear it.”
