Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson shared a transparent note to his Instagram, mere minutes after praising Kanye West for being honest about his mental health struggles.
The comedian, who is diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, said that he doesn’t “want to be on this Earth anymore” while pledging he’s doing his best.
“Just remember I told you so,” he closed the note. He deleted his Instagram soon after posting it.

The post came shortly after he praised Kanye for his honesty about his own mental health issues.

“Bravo Kanye West for standing up for yourself and speaking out against (sic) mental health,” he wrote. “I can’t explain to you enough how difficult and scary it is to be honest about stuff like this. We need people like Kanye. No one should ever point fingers at you for your bravery in speaking about mental health. I’m seriously disgusted.”
Davidson has been candid about his own mental health problems, sharing how he copes in interviews and during appearances on SNL.
“I’ve been in and out of mental health facilities since I was 9,” he said in an interview with Variety. “The last few years have been real rough with me. I took all these mental health classes and really spent a lot of time getting me good.”
In that same interview, he noted that he had quit social media for his health. That’s clearly fallen by the wayside.
“The internet is evil, and I don’t like how it affects me,” he said. “I don’t like how the internet is a place where anybody can sh*t on you and make anything up…I can’t go online like everybody else because it’s just a f*ck-fest. And now I get to enjoy my life.”
