‘PGA Tour 2K23’ Featuring Tiger Woods Shares New Gameplay Trailer

After almost a decade without a video game appearance, Tiger Woods is set to return to the gaming world with PGA Tour 2K23. And now, you can watch the new trailer above.
The new edition of 2K Games’ series of golf video games will release this October with three editions, with Tiger Woods covering his eponymous game. The last time he graced the cover of a video game was all the way back in 2013 with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14. The Tiger Woods Edition of PGA Tour 2K23 debuts on Oct. 11, with the 15-time major champion available as a character. The standard edition of PGA Tour 2K23 will arrive on October 14.
“It’s not only great to be back on the cover of a video game, but the Executive Director role makes this a truly unique opportunity,” Woods said of his role as you guessed it, executive director. “2K is the perfect partner for me and I am excited to continue impacting the game and culture of golf beyond my play on the PGA Tour.”
Other pros set to feature in the game, all of whom will be playable, include Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Lexi Thompson, Lydia Ko, Will Zalatoris, Collin Morikawa, and Brooke Henderson. The Deluxe and Woods editions also come with the bonus Michael Jordan pack.
The new version of the game will feature a new 3-click swing option, in addition to the standard analog swing stick, several licensed courses, and more. People will also be able to create their own courses. Some of the licensed courses that will be included are the Wilmington Country Club, The Renaissance Club, St. George’s Golf and Country Club, and others.
The game will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 consoles. It will also come to PC via Steam.
