Mike Will Made-It‘s Creed II companion album is already stacked with a veritable assortment of top-tier creatives, including Kendrick Lamar and Travis Scott. Now, per an understandably stoked update from Mike Will himself, we can add Skateboard P to that list.
“ALWAYS AN HONOR WORKING WITH MY BROTHER PHARRELL,” the prolific producer captioned a photo of Pharrell in action late Wednesday, adding that he thought he and P would “never top” their 2017 “Aries” collab from Ransom 2. “THEN WE CREATED IT ON STEROIDS, THEN WE ADDED MORE STEROIDS ON TOP OF IT WITH A 🔥 ASS FEATURE,” he said.
Pharrell joins other previously teased soundtrack contributors including Nas, Lil Wayne, YG, Nicki Minaj, and more. Also on Wednesday, Mike Will asked fans who they thought was worthy of hopping on the untitled Kendrick track:
Steven Caple Jr.’s Creed II, the movie, features returning stars Michael B. Jordan and Tessa Thompson re-teaming with Sylvester Stallone in a story co-penned by Stallone and Juel Taylor. The sequel to Ryan Coogler’s 2015 hit arrives Nov. 21.
