Philly Fans in Disbelief After Joel Embiid Shows Support for Packers Against Eagles

Did Joel Embiid not learn from his 76ers teammate Mike Scott? As the Thursday Night Football game between the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles was just getting underway, Embiid posted a tweet seemingly proclaiming his allegiance to the Packers.
Eagles fans were far from pleased to learn that Embiid is a Packers fan, and would essentially be rooting against them. We’ll give you a sampling of the responses which definitely reflect their anger towards Embiid.
Embiid has gained a reputation as a troll, and this one could just be another entry in that log. But as of right now, he has yet to address the backlash he has received for being a Packers fan.
