Pornhub Removes Hidden Camera Video From South Carolina College Locker Room

Pornhub has continually taken a firm stance on revenge pornography, and now is taking a stand once again in an ongoing police investigation. As TMZ reports, someone installed a hidden camera in the women’s locker room at Limestone College sometime around 2012, recording unsuspecting women without their consent for several months. The culprit behind the camera uploaded the footage to Pornhub this year.
The video was reported to Limestone officials recently, and that’s when Pornhub was made aware of the content, which violates its terms of service. Officials have said that there’s a person of interest identified in the case, and they are not a student. They were, however, “associated with the school at the time,” although it’s not clear in what capacity.
“Through the years, we have supported legislation that has made revenge porn illegal and have also worked directly alongside local authorities on individual cases to assist in prosecution,” Pornhub’s VP Blake White said of the situation. “On our platform, we strongly condemn non-consensual content, including revenge porn.”
Limestone College said that its “primary goal continues to be the safety of our students, faculty, staff, and guests.” The statement continued, “It is unfortunate that an individual or individuals might have violated the terms under which we are gathered as a community at this College.”
