Porsche Collaborates With PUMA to Create a Kaleidoscopic Capsule Collection

Porsche and PUMA have joined forces to collaborate on an exclusive sneaker collection, ‘Dreams in Colours’, to celebrate three decades of Porsche in Thailand.

The limited edition Porsche x PUMA California Pro 911 ‘Dreams in Colours’ range pays homage to the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS ‘30 Years Porsche Thailand’ model.

With this year marking 30 years since Thailand became an official importer of Porsche in 1993, the run of the collection reflects this and is limited to just 1,993 pairs. The collection features seven bold colourways that reflect Thailand’s rich culture: ‘Signal Yellow’, ‘Ruby Star’, ‘Signal Green’, ‘Pastel Orange’, ‘Riviera Blue’, ‘Ultra Violet’, and ‘Fire Red’. 

Why these seven colours specifically? Well, the seven colours represent the seven days of the week in Thailand—an ancient custom in Thai culture that assigns a colour to each day of the week. Each shoe also corresponds to the Paint-to-Sample colours on the 911 Carrera GTS ‘30 Years Porsche Thailand’ release.

The silhouette is no average California Pro. This particular model includes insoles with a classic Porsche 964 on the right and the 911 Carrera GTS ‘30 Years Porsche Thailand’ on the left, as well as a contemporary ‘911’ logo on the rear pull tab.

The collaboration also involves a partnership with music label and media company 88rising, announced at the official launch of the collaboration held at the legendary street culture home ground, CARNIVAL TM in Bangkok. The partnership is aimed at discovering young and aspiring talent in Thailand. Young Thai artists are invited to share their music by tagging #DreamsinColours on TikTok.
