Thursday, Republic Records and Sony Pictures Entertainment shared the first single from the film’s official soundtrack album, due Dec. 14. Stream Malone and Lee’s “Sunflower” video above. The two previously linked for the beerbongs & bentleys cut “Spoil My Night.”
The soundtrack is said to cover a variety of genres and has been curated by Republic and Sony to represent “what a teen like [lead character Miles Morales] is listening to across the country.” Additional artists have not yet been announced. The soundtrack’s release date coincides with the film’s theatrical release.
