Premiere: Leeds Rapper ATO Looks Inwards On Cerebral New Single “24”

Northern rhymer and Complex favourite ATO is back with another artfully crafted video for his new single “24”. Just like the black-and-white visuals for April’s “Still Running“, the Joey Brodnax-directed video frames ATO’s introspective lyrics and almost meditative delivery in a style that’s lo-fi and DIY, yet polished and poised. Equally, the production from long-term collaborator EDEN gives ATO a slow-burning, understated backing that crackles and simmers behind his lyrics.
As for future plans, ATO’s keeping his cards close to his chest, but if he can continue this trajectory of dreamy, lo-fi drops — and we’re told he will — he’s got a bright future ahead of him.
