Premiere: Lenzman And Children Of Zeus Make It “Rain” On Jazzy D&B Alliance

Metalheadz mainstay Lenzman will be releasing his second album, Bobby, for Goldie’s legendary label on March 29. The new album promises 16 tracks, most of which are all Lenzman, but there are a couple of guest spots on there, principally “Rain” featuring soulful hip-hop duo Children Of Zeus. This isn’t the first time he’s worked with them — Lenzman’s remix of their 2016 tune “Still Standing” remains a crowd pleaser to this day — but it is the first time they’ve worked together on an original track, and their clear mutual understanding is immediately audible. The jazzy, soulful D&B vibes of the “Still Standing” remix are continued here to form the backbone of the track while Konny Kon and Tyler Daley unfurl their sprawling, melodic flows.
