Premiere: Terri Walker And Children Of Zeus Share Rap-Infused “Can’t Tell Me Anything”

Back in May, Terri Walker released the Breakout EP, a massive, nine-track release presented by Joe Buhdha that united Walker’s passion for classic soul, reggae, hip-hop and classic R&B in one tight, cohesive package. Now, following “OK” and the Rodney P-assisted “Breakout“, she’s back with the third single from the project, the rap version of “Can’t Tell Me Anything” with Children Of Zeus.
In the video, shot and directed by Ernest Simons, we see Walker belting out her room-filling vocals over a vibrant live band and a bouncy boom bap beat. Tyler Daley and Konny Kon then step in with their own verses, adding a relaxed counterpoint to Walker’s powerful and impassioned voice.
