Premiere: Tuff London Drop Off Two New 4×4 Bangers For The New Year With ‘Calling’ EP

Sonny Fodera’s Solotoko label are back with their final release of the year, this time it’s DJ and producer duo Tuff London with their new two-track EP, London Calling. Both A-side “Talk To Me” and its counterpart “Calling” are built around a framework of thumping 4×4 kick drums and a weighty bass line. The former peppers that with euphoric synths and an infectiously sweet vocal line for a gloriously old school house feel. The latter, however, cranks the energy up even higher by adding to that rhythm section with a big, uplifting sample from Public Enemy’s “Harder Than You Think”. Expect to hear both of these in every club up and down the land for the next year or so.
