Premiere: West Londoner AMA Is Completely Absorbed In A New Love On High Energy “Crystal”

19-year-old West London singer AMA has arrived with some brand new summer heat, just in time for the your pre-Carnival parties. “Crystal” is an energetic piece of R&B with plenty of club potential to boot, thanks to the trap-infused production from Karma Kid. Coming with the new single is a slickly-produced video from Glenn Kitson, shot entirely in London, which shows the singer surrounded by close friends and family, shaking a leg and loving life. A starkly different vibe from her last single, “She Bad”, “Crystal” has a big and bold sound that her rich vocals are perfectly suited for.

Speaking with Complex via email, AMA explained: “‘Crystal’ really is about that moment when you’re certain you’ve found what you’re looking for, or what seems like you’ve been missing and nobody else can take your focus. For the video I really just wanted to capture the energy of the song and be around the people that I love, so that’s what we did.”
