The first installment of Control the Streets dropped back in December of 2017. It boasted appearances from Migos, Lil Yachty, City Girls, Kodak Black, Travis Scott, Gucci Mane, Nicki Minaj, Ty Dolla Sign, YRN Lingo, Young Thug, Lil Baby, Marlo, Kollision, Cardi B, Tee Grizzley, and MoneyBagg Yo.
“I just think that we got so many talented artists over here,” OC co-founder Pierre “Pee” Thomas told Complex back in 2018. “And the only thing we do is work. We work non-stop. Ain’t no use sitting on this stuff. Ain’t no use sitting on the product. All my artists is hustlers. When you got good work and good product, the people need to have it. You understand what I’m saying? It’s simple as that.”
