Quavo and Yung Miami have teamed up for the new song and accompanying video, “Strub tha Ground.” The video shows the two rappers mobbing in the streets, surrounded by luxury cars and a bevy of twerking women.
The song follows Migos’ latest videos for “How We Coming” and “Roadrunner” from the group’s last album, Culture III. “How We Coming” was included in a set of five extra songs that were added to the project with the arrival of its deluxe version, as well as “How Did I,” “New Money,” “Menace,” and “Working a Fool.”
In recent City Girls news, the pair revealed back in August that they were “chopped” from Drake’s 2018 Scorpion hit “In My Feelings.” JT explained, “We both did verses. And they called us back and let us know it was gonna be on the album, but it wasn’t a whole verse.”
While things have been quiet on the music front for Caresha, JT connected with Summer Walker for the singer’s new song “Ex for a Reason,” which will appear on Walker’s highly-anticipated album Still Over It.
