Quavo Says Migos’ ‘Culture III’ Coming Early 2019

Written by on October 17, 2018

Quavo might have just shared his debut solo album, Quavo Huncho, but that hasn’t stopped him and the rest of the Migos from keeping busy. While touring the country with frequent collaborator and good friend Drake, they’ve apparently been scheming up their next album together, according to Quavo.

In a new interview, the Associated Press asked, “How about new Migos music?” Quavo teased, “We’ll be at the top of 2019. We’re going to hit them with Culture III.”

It makes perfect sense: Migos dropped the “Bad and Boujee”-fueled Culture on Jan. 27, 2017, then this year’s 106-minute Culture II one day before the record’s first anniversary. Both debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

During the interview, Quavo was also asked about what else is next as far as solo records from Takeoff and Offset go. “I don’t know the exact dates,” he explains, “But Takeoff will be next and [then] Offset will come.” This confirms what Offset’s mom said last week, adding that Takeoff “releases soon after Quavo.”

Being on tour with Drizzy, Quavo also talked about how they’ve witnessed Drake squashing beefs with Meek Mill and Chris Brown. “It’s good when two players, two brothers, two black men come together,” he said. “We don’t need to be shooting at nobody. There doesn’t need to be any violence. If you can just sit down and talk, you can work it out. That’s the best way instead of pulling out guns.”
