Rae Sremmurd Announce ‘SremmLife 4’

After the success of their SR3MM triple-disc album, Rae Sremmurd is looking to capitalize on their hot streak, as the duo revealed they intend to release their sequel, SremmLife 4, in early 2019.
The brothers linked up with Luc Belaire, a premium wine label that also has also partnered with DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, and Dave East, to name a few. During the shoot to commemorate their addition to the Belaire family, the duo spoke with Hypebeast to share details their upcoming aspirations.
Swae Lee states he and Slim Jxmmi will be “sticking to the script of what we do on the SremmLife; making club bangers, making timeless classics, and just bringing the vibe.” If you remember, SR3MM was comprised of a group project, Swaecation (Lee’s record), and Jxmtro (Jxmmi’s record). The album contrasted each artist’s sonic style, as they attempted to demonstrate their artistic prowess with solo cuts, as well as group records.
For this upcoming album, however, Rae Sremmurd will revert to their previous formula of generating music together rather than apart.
This news comes after Swae Lee announced in a now deleted tweet his plans on putting out a solo EP. Lee confirmed the existence of the EP and says it will be separate from the group’s release, as he believes fans didn’t have the opportunity to “fully digest” Swaecation. Fans of Lee’s crooning can expect his forthcoming offering to be further refined, as he promises fans that the instrumentation, vocal abilities, and topics that have “never been touched before” will be on full display.
Expect the next SremmLife sequel sometime early next year.
