Rap Fans Think Pusha-T Is Co-Signing The Weeknd’s Alleged Drake Shot

Pusha-T is apparently a big fan of “Lost in the Fire,” The Weeknd’s newly released collaboration with French DJ Gesaffelstein.
Hours after the track hit streaming services, The Weeknd shared the song’s official music video on Twitter. Pusha responded to the XO boss’ tweet with a series of flame emojis, suggesting he really liked what The Weeknd had cooked up.
Naturally, many fans were convinced Pusha’s positive review was heavily influenced by the alleged Drake diss featured in the song. If you’ve yet to hear “Lost in the Fire” (do yourself a favor and check it out now), it begins with a series of lines in which The Weeknd talks about wanting a child: “And I just want a baby with the right one (I just want a baby with the right)/’Cause I could never be the one to hide one (I could never be the one to hide).”
Fans speculated The Weeknd was taking shots at his fellow Toronto-born artist Drake, who admitted to having a secret child with Sophie Brussaux. Drizzy was basically forced to confirm the news last year, after Pusha unleashed “Story of Adidon,” a diss track that claimed Drake was a deadbeat dad who was hiding a baby boy.
The beef between Drake and Pusha dates back to last decade, when tensions where high between Clipse and Lil Wayne. The drama has resulted in a slew of diss tracks as well as a highly publicized feud that has involved J. Prince, Rhymefest, Kim Kardashian, and, of course, Kanye West. Drake accused Kanye of telling Pusha his family secrets. Kanye denied the allegations, and later accused Drake of threatening him and his family.
