Reds Pitcher Amir Garrett Wanted to Fight the Entire Pirates Team

Earlier tonight, Yasiel Puig was shipped by the Cincinnati Reds to the Cleveland Indians as part of a three-team trade with the San Diego Padres. In almost poetic fashion, the Reds gave Puig one last parting gift by getting him involved in an all-out brawl with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
With the Pirates just four outs away from finishing off an 11-4 victory over the Reds on Tuesday, relief pitcher Amir Garrett decided to go full WWE by running off the mound and towards the Pirates’ dugout.

After landing a solid left hook, Garrett was swarmed by Pirates players. Garrett’s teammates eventually jumped into the fray, and that included Yasiel Puig. Whether he already knew was being traded or not, the outfielder couldn’t pass up one last brawl with the Pirates with his now former teammates.
Back in April, Puig received a two-game suspension and an undisclosed fine when he pulled a similar stunt against the Pirates.
In baseball, they say you should go down swinging, but they didn’t mean like this.
