Rich the Kid Drops ‘The World Is Yours 2’ f/ Offset, Young Thug, Lil Pump, and More

Back in fall 2018, Rich the Kid boldly announced he had completed “the album of the century.” About six months and a brief delay later, fans will finally get to see if the project lives up to the hype.
Rich’s sophomore album, The World Is Yours 2, hit the digital streets Thursday night, nearly one year after its predecessor’s release. The project’s tracklist is pretty similar to the one Migos’ leaked back in January, as it features cuts like “Fall Threw” with Tory Lanez and Gunna, “Wrong Thing” assisted by Nav, and “Rockets” featuring Offset and Lil Pump.
Other big-name contributors include, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Miguel, Ty Dolla Sign, and A Boogie wit da Hoodie.
You can check out The World Is Yours 2 now on Apple Music, iTunes, and Spotify.
The album arrives as Rich and his girlfriend, Tori Brixx, prepare to welcome their first child together. During a recent appearance on Big Boy’s Neighborhood, the rapper spoke about potential names for the unborn baby, and accidentally confirmed the gender.
“My name is Dimitri. I think I might name him the same thing, Dimitri the II,” he said during the interview.
“You havin’ a little boy? Is that already out?” Big Boy asked.
“It wasn’t,” Rich replied with a smile.
Rich clearly has a lot to celebrate, which could explain his decision to drop $450,000 on a one-of-a-kind chain. The 26-year-old showed off the iced-out piece via Instagram on Thursday, just hours before he unleashed his new album. TMZ reports the Cuban chain link and spinning emblem feature 250 carats of VS diamonds. You can peep the necklace, created by celebrity jeweler Eliantte, below.
Here’s to hoping Rich isn’t the victim of another robbery.
