Rick Ross is letting loose another one off his long-awaited Port of Miami sequel.

And here’s the YouTubed version:

Port of Miami started me on this journey,” Ross told fans back in June of the new project, due Aug. 9. “It’s only right I bring it back to where it all started. For my ones to the new ones, this album is for you.”

The sequel to Ross’ 2006 debut album will be supported with a short tour that’s set to kick off at Belasco in Los Angeles Sept. 26. Additional shows have been announced including Dallas, New Orleans, Detroit, back-to-back Gramercy shows in New York, and more.

Ross let fans in on his creative headspace for a recent Power 106 interview during which he named his top 5 favorite rappers.

“[Biggie] was so effortless, and then I jump to the west side and say Ice Cube,” Ross said of his top 2 choices. “Anybody that don’t consider Cube, they don’t really count.” Ross’ full ranking also included Scarface, 8Ball & MJG, and either Nipsey or 2Pac to round out the top 5.

Rather You Than Me, Ross’ most recent album, was released via Epic/Maybach in March 2017 and notably opened at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.
