Rihanna Calls Out Trump, Says Mass Shootings Are ‘Terrorist Attacks’

Rihanna has been an outspoken critic of Donald Trump before, but just like a lot of other Americans she’s had enough following the mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. In a post on her Instagram, Rihanna has called up Trump with a screenshot of one of his tweets.
“Um… Donald, you spelt ‘terrorism’ wrong,” she wrote. “Your country had 2 terrorist attacks back to back hours apart leaving almost 30 innocent people dead. This, just days after yet another terrorist attack in California, where a terrorist was able to LEGALLY purchase an assault rifle (AK-47) in Vegas, then drive hours to a food festival in Cali leaving 6 more people dead including a young infant baby boy.”
Back in June, Rihanna urged people to speak up against Trump’s immigration policies, and in her new post she highlighted that these shootings were domestic terrorism. “Imagine a world where it’s easier to get an AK-47 than a VISA,” she continued. “Imagine a world where they build a wall to keep terrorists IN AMERICA!!! My prayers and deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of all the victims from Texas, California, and Ohio! I’m so sorry for your loss! Nobody deserves to die like this! NOBODY!”
Rihanna also posted her response to Trump on Twitter.
Rihanna wasn’t the only musician to call out Trump following the shootings. With a retweet of Trump confirming that authorities are investigating the shootings further, Cardi B chimed in. “We have enough information already,” she tweeted. “Both of the shooters are white supremacist terrorist with intentions to kill minority’s [sic]. Law enforcement took rapid action but what are YOU going to do to control some of your RACIST SUPPORTERS?”
The shooting in El Paso, Texas left 20 dead and 26 injured, while the shooting in Dayton, Ohio left 9 dead and 26 injured.
