London producer NYGE is the man with an enviable knack for bringing out the best in artists, and with his fingers firmly on the pulse, he nowsteps up with newcomer Rushy on “ATM”. Out via Mixtape Madness, this one was given its debut spin last night on BBC 1Xtra and it’s being termed by NYGE as “get money music” —with the new visuals placing Rushy on a paper chase through various locations.
Buzzing for some time now, West London rhymer Rushy’s breakout “Trippidy Trap” remains among the pick of the bunch for this year and on “ATM”, he showcases a bouncy, mesmerising flow, littered with playful ad-libs. We’ve got word he’s sitting on a stack of releases that’ll soon see the light of day this year, and we’ve no doubt NYGE will remain somewhere around the top tier orchestrating sounds for some time to come.
