Russo Brothers Reveal When ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Spoiler Ban Will Be Lifted

Written by on May 3, 2019

If you haven’t seen Avengers: Endgame yet, get to a theater this weekend. Not because their theatrical run is coming to an end, but the film’s directors Anthony and Joe Russo have revealed that Endgame’s spoiler ban will be lifted on Monday. We will respect their wishes, and make this post spoiler-free.

The Russo Brothers appeared on Good Morning America Thursday and declared that it will be acceptable to openly discuss the plot of Endgame in just four days. “Part of why we make these movies is for conversation,” Joe Russo explained while talking about the reasoning behind their decision to end the #DontSpoilTheEndgame hashtag.

Prior to Endgame’s premiere, the Russo Brothers penned a letter to fans of the MCU, asking them to not spoil the movie

Endgame stars piggybacked on the Russo Brothers’ request, but despite all their efforts, the movie has been ruined for some people. And as expected, these unexpected revelations have led to a few violent results.

On Wednesday, a Domino’s Pizza employee was issued a citation for assault by contact after attacking his co-worker for revealing Endgame spoilers. Less than a week ago, a man in Hong Kong was beaten outside of a movie theater when he started screaming out details about the film.

With the Russo Brothers’ blessing, everything is fair game for Endgame by Monday. Consider this your final warning.
