Sansa Stark and Daenerys Targaryen Share a Few Words in New ‘Game Of Thrones’ Clip

In a ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ moment, HBO released a brief clip from the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones. At the 38-second mark, Daenerys Targaryen and Jorah Mormont are seen walking into Winterfell to meet with Sansa Stark. With Jon Snow standing nearby, Daenerys and Stark share the screen for the first time ever. “Winterfell is yours, your grace,” Sansa seems to begrudgingly tell Dany before the commercial cuts to the another one of the network’s shows.

Back in August, HBO shared a commercial with a similar format that gave us a few more bread crumbs about the upcoming season of Thrones sandwiched between a handful of their other shows. At the 1:10 mark, Jon and Sansa share an embrace that doesn’t seem to have the emotional weight on the latter person’s behalf as it did in season six.
The clip appears, however, to establish allegiances as they await their long-awaited battle with the Night King and his Army of the Dead, who were seen in last season’s finale breaking through The Wall with the the now-undead Viserion.
The eighth season of Game of Thrones will premiere in April 2019.
