I agree with a lot of the comments here, BTS are not, arrogant, they are humble they don't think of themselves better than anyone else, that is why we love them so much, I am a 55 yr old ARMY, ARMY is diverse from gender to age, I'm disappointed with this billboard news, it is so wrong 😥

literally no one “learned” anything new. the article only further proved how western media STILL looks down on bts and doesn’t know how to get its facts straight. if you haven’t yet, don’t bother reading this sad excuse for a cover story and stream dna instead

OKay! RM never say that kind of words, Hollywood magazines is so trash! The ARTICLE is trash too. Don't be racist to our boy and put them in something that they didn't do anything. They're so humble!!!!! Billboard should remove this video or the writer of that article will get fired from say something doesn't true from RM.

the article it outright disrespectful. how many times does bts have to be in the billboard charts for yall to stop believing in articles like that and actually do PROPER research and not relying on tabloid reports?

That quote in the begining was very ambiguous in the article. The part about where they thought they were the best compared to other groups was added by the writer. I'm sure they meant they have to be confident when they are performing and think they are good enough not "I'm better than xyz" bullshit. In korean they would say phrases like that but might come out a bit cocky in english. I swear this guy had an agenda and twisted their words. We know they are humble af

Btw, Billboard, you might wanna get Your facts straight before you report on an unauthorized, Biased, and completely ignorant source.
    https://onehallyu.com/topic/619787-bts-demographic-range-the-truth/
These are the LATEST demographics for ARMY. Which shows that 31% of ARMY is Male and 69% is Female. And the largest decade demographic is 33% of ARMY being in their 30s with the second largest age demographic being 32% of ARMY in their 20s. The third largest age demographic??? Nope, not teens. It's actually people in their 40s at 17% with teens coming in at a mere 14%.
This was data all collected from concert ticket purchases, Album purchases, fan accounts/memberships, merch purchases, polls, questionnaires, WEVERSE and Twitter accounts, movie purchases, etc. BigHit keeps tabs and everyone knows that when you purchase anything, there's always a barcode to scan that takes you to a survey and asks you demographic questions and when you create accounts for stuff, it asks. So please get your facts straight.
Edit: just re-read the article and that was from 2017, which means that the male demographic and such has DEFINITELY gone up. Yeah, the whole ARMY is 88% teenage girls is from 2015. 4 years ago. A lot can change in 4 years.

When Namjoon said "we have to consider ourselves not just better(than other kpop acts) but the best", it's quite off putting. Namjoon will never say better than others. What is the need to supplement what he said with negative tone on it?

  8. Elsa Starck   On   October 3, 2019 at 5:26 am

Rm said :"WE HAVE TO CONSIDER OURSELVES NOT JUST BETTER (THAN WHAT WE WRER BACK THEN) BUT THE BEST (FOR OUR ARMY) WHEN WE ARE OUT THERE IN THE STAGE WE ARE THERE TO PROVE WE ARE THE ONES DESERVE ARMY'S TRUST "
THIS IS WHAT HE REALLY SAID
AND SERIOUSLY YOU THINK BTS CHARE ROOMS YOU SERIOUS? THAT WAS BACK THEN WHEN THE DIDNT HAVE MONEY WHEN THEY WERE ROOKIES

They are LEGENDS !!! Liders of this generation …… Even if other group debuts, or whatever they started whin nothing, literally nothing, and now a lot of groups debuts with a lot of money and help. But these boys are differents, they are unique, they are BTS
(Maybe not avengers, but they are my Anpanmen) ………

We learned what a mess a badly preprared reported can make…. really he was so unprepared for this interview is laughable. And the bad references and miss interpretation …..no

  11. Vanessa Devillers   On   October 3, 2019 at 5:26 am

I would really like to know how the questions were asked to our boys, I speak of the turn of sentences, the way the interviewer asked his questions. Some journalists are very strong to divert or leave the words of their context.

WOW Billboard REALLY this is your take from the article ???? Really??? U didn’t pick up the xenophobic condescending tone ??? It was EXTREMELY disrespectful and disgusting… bring Jonghyun up was just LOW … OH AND NO ARMY HATED IT … but it’s good to know where billboard stand on this matter

  13. dduk8926   On   October 3, 2019 at 5:26 am
