Sheck Wes Reportedly Won’t Face Charges for Alleged Attack on Justine Skye

“Mo Bamba” rapper Sheck Wes will reportedly face no charges for allegedly abusing his former girlfriend and singer Justine Skye.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office has rejected Skye’s claims against the rapper due to a “lack of evidence.” This particular case stems from allegations that Wes (whose real name is Khadimou Rassoul Cheikh Fall) beat Skye while the two were at West Hollywood’s Montrose Hotel last summer. This incident came to light in February of 2019 when Skye disclosed to Twitter her abusive relationship with the rapper. Wes immediately denied this account, sending out a tweet of his own.
Wes’s stance led Justine Skye to post text messages that she states are between herself and one of Sheck’s associates to further prove her claims. Although the case was dismissed, Skye was granted a restraining order against Wes after their Twitter exchange.
It should be noted that the catalyst for Skye’s social media posts was her claims that Wes and other individuals attacked her and her friends, including Skye’s boyfriend Goldlink. Even though Sheck tweeted that he “did not beat up or jump anybody,” it is unclear if any legal action will be taken as a result of that alleged incident.
