Shootings amid spring break-related activities in Florida and Texas resulted in multiple injuries this weekend, authorities said.

Miami Beach saw the hospitalization of a total of five people in connection with two separate shooting incidents, per a report from WTVJ. In a shooting that took place early Sunday, three people were hospitalized, including two individuals who were found by police after responding to the Ocean Drive and 8th Street area. None of the injuries were reported to have been life-threatening.

The other shooting, police said, took place in the 700 block area of Ocean Drive and saw two women suffer non life-threatening gunshot wounds. When reached for comment by Complex on Monday, a rep for the Miami Beach Police Department shared an arrest report for an individual who was detained during the investigation into the 700 block shooting. The “primary shooter,” however, was said to still be at large as of Monday.

As for the other shooting, the department said in a previously shared update that detectives were now in the process of speaking with “several individuals” to put together a timeline of what led up to the incident.

Meanwhile, in Texas, at least 10 people—including one who’s since been reported to have been “critically injured”—were wounded in a shooting outside the Dallas-based event venue The Space. A subsequent WFAA report stated that the youngest person injured in the shooting was believed to be 14.

In comments given to the local outlet, one witness—who’s said to have been working in a crowd-control capacity for a spring break event at the time—claimed that security had previously attempted to confiscate weapons from the individuals he said later carried out the shooting. Complex has reached out to the Dallas Police Department for comment.

In Corpus Christi, police said three people were taken to a nearby hospital on Friday after being shot on Mustang Island. A police rep later said that an individual had fired into a “nearby crowd,” per a report from KIII, ultimately hitting three people. In initial reports, one person—described as a man in his 30s—was said to have been in critical condition. The other two victims, meanwhile, did not sustain life-threatening injuries.

Complex has reached out to the Corpus Christi Police Department for comment. In an initial statement, police said they were in the process of “working to positively identify” a suspect.

This past weekend also saw multiple previously reported shootings, including one near the SXSW festival that left four people injured and a mass shooting at a car show in Arkansas that left one person dead. And in Norfolk, Virginia on Saturday, two people were killed and three others were injured during a shooting outside a restaurant.
