Step into the ‘Wild Wild East’ with Les Benjamins FW20

Les Benjamins took to Paris for their debut Fashion Week show, showcasing the ‘Wild Wild East’ for Autumn/Winter ’20.
A nostalgia trip of epic proportions, Les Benjamins takes strides through founder Bunyamin Aydin’s Turkish roots, offering a physical, Eastern vision of the 70s. Realised through a lens of teen dreams of rock ‘n’ roll, AW20 delivers a seamless blend – a narrative of sorts – of rich Eastern culture and Western influence. The collection sees the brand takes huge leaps forward from their streetwear roots, merging directional and causal pieces in a diverse array of fabrications and finishes; ranging from shirting and suiting, to smooth leather pieces and shaggy faux fur.
The collection’s palette is equally as impressive as the fabrication choices and level of craftsmanship each silhouette offers, across both menswear and womenswear, with tones throughout heavily rooted in the Eastern landscape. From yellow to blue, through red and grey, AW20 keeps proximity to Les Benjamins’ signature carpet motif in unique new ways, while new graphics appear in reference to the psychedelic graphics of 70s vinyl covers.
