Stephen A. Smith and Michael Wilbon Will Coach All-Star Celebrity Game

Written by on January 10, 2020

As NBA All-Star Weekend kicks off, Mike Wilbon and Stephen A. Smith will coach the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.

The roster for their teams has yet to be announced, but Smith and Wilbon wasted no time in announcing their involvement. “It’s gonna be your boy,” Smith excitedly said in a video he shared to Twitter. “I’ma show you how a coach is really supposed to act in that coaching box.”

Wilbon responded to the video with just as much enthusiasm. “You are not going to come into my town, Chicago, and be the best dressed guy on the sideline,” he joked.

Smith and Wilbon’s teams will go head-to-head on Feb. 14 at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The next day, the NBA All-Star practice and media day will go down at the same venue.

The 2020 NBA All-Star Game, meanwhile, is set to take place just two days after the celebrity game on Feb. 16 at the United Center in Chicago. Chance the Rapper will serve as the performer for the haltime show, while Marv Albert, Chris Webber, and Reggier Miller are the announcers for the game.
