It’s been a wild couple of years for Daniel Caesar. The Toronto artist made a huge splash in 2017 with the release of his debut album Freudian. The project was both a commercial and critical success, earning Caesar his very first Grammy (Best R&B Performance for “Best Part” featuring H.E.R.).
On Wednesday, the rapper/singer announced he had more material dropping soon—like, really soon.
Caesar posted a teaser for Freudian’s follow-up, CASE STUDY 01. The video showed a man walking across desert sand with a clip of J. Robert Oppenheimer quoting the Hindu scripture, Bhagavad-Gita: “Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds.”
CASE STUDY 01 arrived just a day after Caesar teased the album. The project spans 10 tracks and includes guest appearances by John Mayer, Pharrell Williams, and Brandy, among others.
You can stream the album now on Apple Music and via Spotify below.
