Stream Episode 3 of Lil Wayne’s Young Money Radio f/ Eminem

Young Money Radio gets better and better with each episode.

Since launching the Beats 1 program two weeks ago, Lil Wayne has treated the audience to a wide range of guest interviews: hit-maker DJ Khaled, sports legend Deion Sanders, New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell, ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, and OVO boss Drake are just some of the notable figures who’ve appeared on the radio show. But it seems tonight’s installment will be the hardest to top. 

Hours before Young Money Radio aired, Wayne announced episode 3 would include with one of the biggest hip-hop legends, Eminem.

“Ready for some real GOAT 🐐 talk?! A convo wit me and Mr. Mathers,” Wayne wrote on social media. “YoungMoneyRadio LIVE from my Miami studio on @applemusic.”

There’s no doubt the episode will be one for the books, as both rappers have established themselves as two of the biggest heavy-hitters in the game. Wayne and Em have also collaborated throughout the years, joining forces on tracks like “Second Chance,” “Drop the World,” “No Love,” and “Forever.” 

Weezy spoke about working with Eminem during a February interview on Drink Champs, stating he always made sure to never get bodied on their joint tracks. 

“When you get on that joint [with Em] that’s like a championship game. And you win it, and they ask you, ‘How do you feel?’ … I came in with my game plan and I expected my game plan to work,” he said. “When you send a song to Em, I attacked it like that … Either we gonna be right here with it, and just make a beautiful, wonderful great song … And so that’s what we did … I just made sure that he didn’t body me, ’cause that boy is a monster.”
