French Montana is getting back on track with his album release after a health scare.
In November, French was hospitalized for severe stomach issues and an elevated heart rate. After spending a few days in the ICU, on Thanksgiving, he provided fans with an update and shared his appreciation. “Thank you everyone for all of the prayers, love and support. I’m finally out of ICU and am getting better one day at a time,” he said.
This week, French posted a photo of him doing push-ups while revealing his album Montana would be out today.
“CANT KEEP ME DOWN !!” he wrote. “Been workin hard on my new album and I’m so proud to announce it’s coming THIS FRIDAY !!! #MONTANA The music is keepin my spirit alive. THANK YOU to my fans, love y’all for ridin with me thru this journey.”
French’s third studio album was slated for a November release around his birthday on Nov. 9, but got pushed back. It seems French is keeping his word this time around, releasing a tracklist that reveals the album will consist of Side A and Side B. Two bonus tracks – “No Shopping” featuring Drake and “Lockjaw” with Kodak Black—were previously released singles that are now included on the album.
French has been building up anticipation for Montana with single after single. “Suicide Doors” featuring Gunna, “Writing On the Wall” featuring Post Malone, Cardi B, and Rvssian, “Twisted” featuring Juicy J, Logic, and ASAP Rocky, “No Stylist” featuring Drake,” “Wiggle It” featuring City Girls, and “Slide” featuring Blueface and Lil Tjay were available before Montana’s release.
