Today was a momentous day for New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson, who not only had his first Jordan Brand banner unveiled outside of Smoothie King Center, but also linked up with the brand to design sneakers with local high school students.

Williamson, wearing the unreleased Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6, and Jordan officials worked closely with the students as they developed their concepts. The kids were grouped into teams, with the winning squad given the chance to see Williamson wear their design in a game during the upcoming season.
The most coveted incoming sneaker endorser since LeBron James in 2003, Williamson signed a multi-year deal with Jordan Brand in July. He was officially unveiled as the face of the Jordan 34 during a New York City event earlier this month.
