The Beverly Hills location of a 6ix9ine, Nicki Minaj, and Kanye West video production was reportedly shut down following a shooting on Thursday night. The incident took place near Alpine Drive while 6ix9ine and Ye were on set as filming was in progress. Witnesses claimed they heard “at least 10 shots.” Now, TMZ has acquired surveillance footage showing the gunmen.
In the footage, two cars pull up to the Beverly Hills home at around 10:30 p.m before one hoodied-up male gets out of each vehicle. After checking for witnesses, one of them says, “We got 30 seconds,” to which the other responds, “OK.” They begin firing shots over the wall after attempting to get through a locked gate.
At least one bullet went through a window at the property, hitting Nicki Minaj’s dressing room (the Queen rapper wasn’t on set at the time). An investigation into who was responsible for the shooting is currently underway. Following the 911 call, Kanye West left almost immediately.
6ix9ine has had a hard time staying out of trouble. Earlier this week, the rapper’s manager Shottie reportedly surrendered himself to the New York Police Department for his alleged involvement in escalating an incident between Tekashi’s team and a label head’s security. Shottie was indicted on two felonies, including assault in the second degree. The string of bad news comes two weeks after a judge spared him of prison time and sentenced him to four years probation for charges related to his arrest for use of a child in a sexual performance.
