T-Pain and Tory Lanez Throw a Drift Party in Their “Getcha Roll On” Video

T-Pain had a bit of a resurgence in 2018, and now he’s looking to keep the momentum going with the release of his new song and video, “Getcha Roll On.” Accompanied by Tory Lanez, T-Pain’s catchy new song showcases the Florida singer, rapper, and record producer at his best.
The video for the Girl Talk-produced track keeps things just as flashy as the song itself, with cars drifting in the background scarily close to T-Pain. When Tory Lanez comes in, the video shifts gears a little bit with its fluorescent lighting. It matches the energy of track and then some, with director Edgar Esteves approaching the visuals just as enthusiastically as T-Pain does with that chorus.
T-Pain unfortunately didn’t close out 2018 on the best note. Early in December, he announced that he was suing his former manager for $1 million, alleging that he kept taking higher commissions than what was agreed upon for years.
He also revealed later in the month that his brother had spent some time in two seperate hospitals, resulting in a $1.4 million total for his medical treatment. “I first wanna say thank you to all the ppl that were involved in keeping my brother alive,” T-Pain explained. “I can’t express enough gratitude to the medical staff that kept my family whole.”
