TEDxPortland Nike Air Trainer 1

Marking its 10-Year Anniversary, TEDxPortland has once again linked up with Nike to create a celebratory sneaker surrounding the event.
This year, the Tinker Hatfield-designed and Bo Jackson-endorsed Nike Air Trainer 1 gets the call, styled in TED’s white, black and red palette, with several custom markings throughout. The words ‘Spread’ and ‘Ideas’ are printed below the collars, TEDx logos adorn the tongues and heel and the sockliners are printed with graphics that highlight this year’s theme of RE.IMAGINE.
Produced for friends and family of TEDxPortland, the Air Trainer 1 is limited to just 200 pairs. However, event organizers are making pairs of its Nike collab available to the public for the first time ever. Twenty pairs are being auction off, with all proceeds being donated to TEDxPortland 2020 ticket scholarships. Bidding on eBay starts at $500 per pair and runs through Monday evening.
